How to Keep Sane During Pandemic--A Mother's Perspective

Who would have ever thought that we would be living in a pandemic? For me I was 39 weeks pregnant when the world shut down. We had just received the "Stay at Home" order and I was days away from having a new baby. I was nervous, not only about delivery, but what was happening in the world. Four months later, not much has changed, but here's my beautiful boy with me.

One piece of advice that I can share with you is try to keep some fun in your life! No...we can't travel. No...things aren't back to normal but that doesn't mean all hope is lost. Having your little one beside you is the best thing in this world! You don't need to go out to find happiness in other things. Aside from that, it is also the best opportunity to stay closer with your baby. Instead of leaving home for work, and only being able to spend time with your baby in the morning before going to work and in the evening coming back from work, you now have all the time in the world to be with them!

Another useful advice that might work for you is this: for my family, since we all quarantined together, we decided to have a weekly game night. One week, we did a murder mystery party. Another week, we made funny power points to present, and some weeks we simply played cards. The point is take a second out of the week, laugh a little, hug the ones closest to you and things might seem a little bit brighter.
